What would you give to understand your shot better?
I find that the problem with most shooters is not that they aren't capable of becoming a great shooter, they just don't know what to fix.
Most of us were *shown* how to shoot by a well-meaning coach or parent... but how many of us were really *taught* what to look for? What to feel for?
In this Personalized Shot Breakdown, we'll have a LIVE 1-on-1 meeting to cover the following topics as they relate to YOUR individual needs:
Feet:
What sort of directionality and balance am I getting with my feet? How wide should they be? Should I have an external rotation?
Hands:
Do I have good hands on the ball? Where should my trigger finger go? Am I underneath or behind? Do I really need two fingers of space? What if I flick my thumb when I shoot?
Finish
Do I have a consistent, snappy wrist? Does my finish come across my face? How can I fix that? Do I "cobra" back from the ball?
Motion (Front)
Does my shot line reflect something repeatable? Am I shooting smooth through all positions?
Motion (Side)
Is my motion complicated or simple? How close should the ball be to my body? How far out should I swing?
Release Point
Do I have a reliable release point? Is it too high? Is it too flat? How can I find it?
Posture
Am I leaning forward through my lift? Do I let the ball push me backwards? Is my chest strong through my lift?
Landing
Do I land with balance on both legs? Where are my feet pointing? Should they be pointing that way?
Eyes
What am I looking at when I shoot? How long should I look there? Do I keep my eyes open through my finish? Where should I aim?
Sequence
How do I find consistent power? Does the ball move first? Am I releasing the ball too early? Are my knees unlocking too soon?
